Did you know ? the most common style of wearing a sari is called the Nivi Style , which originated from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka . The medley of styles vary widely from the much known Marwari styles, Odia or Bengali styles , Konkani styles , Manipuri styles , Assamese styles and so on.

We sisters decided to play with this 9 yard of a shape shifter as a Fashion fusion, where the east meets the west , which is quite trending and has been seen on many runways . Easy to drape and keeping the comforts of mobility we chose our respective styles. Since it was a family wedding this March first week , it was our outmost concern to be comfortable yet dressy and mobile yet demure at the same time.

The Black and Ferozi light weight ,utterly comfortable, Upada silk was picked from GauriSaria Saree Kendra , Shakespeare Sarani Road, Park Street, Kolkatta , almost 6 years back.

Draped halfway into the pleats with Black Cigarette trousers from Wills Lifestyle , Kolkatta , South city Mall , bought almost 5 years back.

Amped it up with a statement choker from Amama Jewels. , completed the look.

This gorgeous gold pre-stitched  Saree  came with its own Jacket ! So it was practically the most easy breezy thing to pick. Just Tuck and go!

Styled with some fresh roses and the Statement Bindi, wrapped the outfit.
